Upgraded for free and had a great time. 👌 Ideal for my trip. Plus, the airport in Khon Kaen wasn't too far either.

Excellent construction; large rooms that could accommodate up to four in double beds of twin rooms. Low rise but elevator available. Quiet with good lighting and full wall window. Espresso self serve with breakfast. Limited food selection but good tasting. Normal upcountry 50 channels or so cable. Very high quality airconditioner/fan units/controls. Plenty of shelf space. Did not use hotel wi-fi as Iphone 3G was used but signal at far room was excellent from lobby and two other wi-fi points were also available. Even in April very cool sitting outside in breakfast area or in the many benches available. Good restaurant across street and down several blocks (just before KFC). PT station on highway 1 also a good choice (about 1km toward Khon Khen).
No active hotel restaurant yet so you do have to exit for food.

It's quiet and comfortable. The room is large and the garden outside is nice. Travelling to and from outside is convenient. Only problem is that Ban Phai does not have much public transport so, unless one has local friends, going anywhere is very problematic.
The hotel staff forgot to give me a wake-up call. Luckily I did not oversleep otherwise I would have missed my taxi to Khon Kaen and possibly my flight to Bangkok. For most responsible hotels this is unforgivable as there could have been serious consequences to the customer. Sometimes just saying 'sorry is not good enough for such a possible disaster.

I recently had a lovely stay at this hotel in Ban Phai and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. First of all, the value for money is outstanding. The prices are incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality you get. The attention to detail in this hotel is impressive, from the spacious and practical rooms to the big, practical showers. The location is also perfect, right in the center of Ban Phai, making it convenient to explore the town. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist. Last but not least, the breakfast served at this hotel was truly delicious, offering a variety of options to start your day off right.
My experience at this hotel was fantastic and I can't think of anything that could be improved upon.

My second stay at Inpawa. Best hotel in area (no competition that we could find). Perfect for the Ban Phai area. Owner on site and very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. Room is very comfortable. Grounds are nice and green.
Suggest a few more english tv channels. Only one or two channels have english (out of 60).

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. We appreciated the free breakfast and the fact that we could park our car on site. The location was convenient, close to many restaurants and shops. We also liked how friendly and helpful the staff were, making sure our stay was enjoyable.
The Wi-Fi was slow and kept cutting in and out, which was frustrating as we wanted to stay connected with our loved ones. , the TV channels were mostly in a foreign language, with only a few English options.

The room was spacious and clean with a wooden floor, and the breakfast was delicious with very helpful staff. the location was great for exploring nearby attractions and tourist spots.
The lack of a safety deposit box in both the room and at reception made us feel uncomfortable with our belongings, and the loud air conditioning was quite unpleasant. the restaurant closing early with no other nearby dining options was disappointing.
